• Political philosophy…can you date someone of a different ideology?
• Age difference…Can you date someone out of your generation?
• Long distance relations…Do they work, and for how long?
• As you get older, do you pull the plug sooner on relationships that aren’t working? When you were younger did you ride it out, even though you knew it wasn’t working, until it exploded?
We chat about how priorities change with age, and how different characteristics become more important as life experiences develop.

We discuss the the media focus on #Blizzardof2015 and how it seems to be overblown because New York City is involved, when Buffalo, NY just got slammed with 8 feet of snow.
The shooting of the Home Depot manager and suicide of an employee was brought up. This led to discussing Shannon Watts from moms Demand Action. We bring up how there is no mission statement to define their agenda.
Later we bring up the twitter threats on airlines and how 5 flights have been grounded over “credible threats”.
We interview Carl Ganon. He served 11 years on the Berlin, NH police force and opposed the department’s request to be allowed to accept a $274,553 grant to purchase a BearCat military vehicle for a city with a population of less than 11,000. We discuss the city council discussions, concessions and retractions.
We also touch on the Nathaniel Kibby abduction of a 15 year old, who was kept captive for 9 months in Gorham, which is the next town over. This made national news. And since this episode, Gorham police have voted to acquire 7, M4 rifles for a town with a population of 2,900 people.
Ultimately, the town of Berlin will receive delivery of the BearCat within 6 month.
We chat about the changing perspective of police forces and how they are more militarized that in the past.. Carl suggest we read “War Comes Homes”, and ACLU publication to see the changes.
We chat about President Obama not attending the French Protests. We have a different take than the mainstream media. Then we dissect the word “Deserve”. When one has unfortunate circumstances, what did they deserve? When one seeks to better themselves, what do they deserve? When one has a bad accident, what did they deserve? We analyze how this permeates our sense of expectations. Then we chat about how it bleeds into entitlements.
Later we talk about gay marriage and how the word “deserve” bleeds into that.
